Terms and Conditions – Tangled Tastes & Threads

Article 1 – Definitions

  • Cooling-off period: The period during which the customer can exercise their right of cancellation.
  • Customer: A natural person not acting in the course of trade, business, or profession who enters into a distance contract with Tangled Tastes & Threads.
  • Day: Calendar day.
  • Duration transaction: A distance contract for a series of digital products and/or services delivered over time.
  • Durable medium: Any means that allows the customer or Tangled Tastes & Threads to store information for future reference and unchanged reproduction.
  • Right of withdrawal: The customer's option to cancel the distance contract within the withdrawal period.
  • Tangled Tastes & Threads: The business offering digital products and/or related services at a distance to customers.
  • Distance contract: A contract concluded via a system organized for the remote sale of digital products and/or services using distance communication techniques.
  • Remote communication technique: Any means to conclude a contract without the customer and Tangled Tastes & Threads being physically present together.
  • General terms and conditions: The current general terms and conditions of Tangled Tastes & Threads.

Article 2 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer and distance contract concluded between Tangled Tastes & Threads and the customer.

  • Before a contract is concluded, the text of these terms and conditions will be made available to the customer. If not possible, it will be provided upon request without charge.
  • For electronic contracts, these terms and conditions can be made available electronically in a way that allows storage for future reference.
  • If specific conditions for digital products or services apply, they are supplementary to these terms. In the event of conflicting terms, the most favorable to the customer applies.

Article 4 – The Offer

  • Offers will clearly state their validity period or any specific conditions.
  • All offers are non-binding and subject to changes by Tangled Tastes & Threads.
  • Descriptions of digital products and/or services will be complete and accurate. Images or examples used are illustrative but may not reflect exact details.
  • The offer will clearly outline:
    • Total price (excluding any taxes or fees).
    • Access or download costs for digital products.
    • Right of withdrawal (if applicable).
    • Payment, delivery, and fulfillment methods.
    • Period of validity.
    • Any additional terms relevant to the offer.

Article 5 – The Contract

  • The contract is concluded once the customer accepts the offer and fulfills the stated conditions.
  • For electronic agreements, receipt of acceptance will be acknowledged electronically.
  • Tangled Tastes & Threads will take appropriate measures to ensure secure data transmission and online transactions.
  • If Tangled Tastes & Threads finds reasons to refuse an order, it reserves the right to do so or to apply special conditions, providing justification to the customer.

Article 6 – Right of Cancellation

  • Customers have 14 days from receipt of the digital product to cancel their purchase without reason.
  • Cancellation must be requested in writing or via email within the cooling-off period.
  • Once cancellation is received, Tangled Tastes & Threads will process the cancellation, and access to the digital product will be revoked.

Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal

  • The customer will not bear the cost of returning digital products as they are delivered electronically.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation being confirmed.

Article 8 – Price

  • Prices will remain unchanged during the validity period stated in the offer, except for changes in taxes or applicable fees.
  • Any errors in pricing or typographical mistakes will not bind Tangled Tastes & Threads.
  • The customer is responsible for additional costs such as taxes or digital platform fees.

Article 9 – Conformity and Warranty

  • Digital products will conform to the contract and meet reasonable quality standards.
  • Customers must notify Tangled Tastes & Threads of any defects within 14 days of delivery or access to the digital product.
  • Warranty does not apply to:
    • Improper use of digital products.
    • Modifications or unauthorized access.
    • Compatibility issues with the customer’s device or software.

Article 10 – Delivery and Execution

  • Digital products will be delivered via electronic download or access link to the email or account provided by the customer.
  • Delivery will occur within 30 days unless agreed otherwise. If delayed, the customer will be informed and may cancel the order for a refund.
  • If a product is unavailable, a replacement digital product may be offered. The customer retains the right to reject the replacement.

Article 11 – Duration Transactions

  • Open-ended contracts for regular digital content supply can be terminated with one month’s notice.
  • Fixed-term contracts for digital subscriptions will not renew automatically unless agreed with the customer.
  • Contracts longer than one year may be terminated after one year with one month’s notice.

Article 12 – Payment

  • Payments must be completed within the specified period after the cooling-off period.
  • Customers must report inaccuracies in payment details promptly.

Article 13 – Complaints Procedure

  • Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of discovering any issues with the digital product.
  • Complaints will be acknowledged within 14 days, with an indication of resolution time if more than 14 days are required.
  • If a complaint is justified, Tangled Tastes & Threads will offer a replacement or fix the issue without additional charge.

Article 14 – Disputes

  • In the event of disputes, efforts will be made to resolve the issue amicably.

Article 15 – Updates to Terms

  • These terms and conditions may be updated to reflect changes in operations or practices. Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically.
